Crowder Won Foundation is a community-powered organization dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods through critical thinking, shared learning, and collective action. We believe meaningful change happens when people are given the space, tools, and support to think strategically and lead together.

We are actively onboarding volunteers, community builders, and founding partners who want to help shape innovative, locally driven programs. Whether you bring experience in education, technology, creative work, mentorship, or simply a passion for community growth, there is a place for you here.

Our first initiative, Community Chess Lab, uses chess as a hands-on tool for developing problem-solving, patience, and strategic thinking. Hosted in schools, community spaces, public events, and pop-up locations, Community Chess Lab invites people of all ages to play, learn, and engage in thoughtful conversation—often opening the door to deeper discussions around decision-making, mental wellness, and collaboration.

As we grow, funding and partnerships allow us to expand access, provide materials, support facilitators, and bring Community Chess Lab to more neighborhoods—while keeping leadership rooted in the community itself. Every contribution helps transform simple moments of play into opportunities for learning, connection, and long-term impact.
